Version 2.0
Free Accessibility Checker
Enter any page URL and we’ll check it the way screen readers, keyboard users and auditors experience it — alt text, headings, form labels and link names, the full WCAG 2.1 AA rule set including color contrast, keyboard focus, phone-width reflow and the PDFs it links to. Free, no account. Tap the i on any result to learn what it means.
What this checks — and what it can’t
- Screen-reader basics: image alt text, heading structure, form labels, link and button names, page language and title, skip link, iframe titles.
- The full WCAG 2.1 AA rule set from axe-core, the engine behind Google Lighthouse, including color contrast, plus WCAG 2.2 and best-practice advisories.
- Keyboard focus: whether every link, button and field shows where you are when you press Tab.
- Phone view: the page rendered 320 px wide for sideways scrolling, the viewport tag and tiny text.
- Linked PDFs: tagged, real text or a scanned picture, title and language.
It runs in your own browser on the page as it really renders, and tells you if a firewall or login screen got in the way. No automated tool can judge keyboard flow, screen-reader experience or pages behind a login, so a clean report is a strong start, not a certification — if you need the full picture, ask us about a complete audit.
