Two kinds of numbers — and why they differ
Real-user data (from the Chrome UX Report) is what actual visitors experienced over the last 28 days. It is what Google uses to judge Core Web Vitals, but it only exists for pages with enough Chrome traffic. Lab data (from Lighthouse) is a single simulated visit run right now on a mid-range phone with a slow connection, so it works for any public page, but it is a diagnostic, not a verdict. When the two disagree, trust the real-user numbers for whether there is a problem and the lab list for what to try first.
